Oahu

We spent time on Oahu with my parents, brother, sister, brother-in-law, niece, uncle and aunt. We stayed in a house on the beach together for most of the trip, and it was so relaxing to be able to hang out in the front room when the kids were in bed or to take turns hanging out with Aiden on the beach (his favorite thing) and to eat breakfast in our jammies if we wanted and just to have the time to get caught up when we weren’t out doing something else.

Practicing writing in the sand… thanks for the idea, Emily!

We visited the Lyon Arboretum, Byodo-In Temple, the Polynesian Cultural Center, various lookouts & beaches, the Sea Life Park, Kualoa Ranch, the Dole Pineapple Plantation, Pearl Harbor, and the temple. We ate lots of good food and generally just enjoyed our warm vacation.

Isaac was so unabashed, they gave him a solo to amuse everyone in the crowd at our luau. Winking smile

The hand-holding was all Aiden’s idea. He cracks me up.

Love, love, LOVE this post. SO many fun pictures - it was hard to keep track of all the ones I love but I did it. Below I've listed ones of note (sorry - longest comment ever):

1) You and Isaac doing a belly shot. That was so fun to take. Haha.
2) I'm telling you, Aiden is genius - his way of writing his name upside-down and backwards and whatever looks like gibberish but may be the language of the future. Start learning it now.
3) I love the Hawai'i 2015 drawn-in-sand picture even if Aiden isn't smiling.
4) The picture of Landon laughing while Isaac's holding him at the Arboretum is wonderful. I'd like to see it huge. Landon's face is so cute. Ha - I clicked on it to see it huge and now see his eyes closed funny. Still adorable.
5) Mom and dad at the luau.
6) Aiden at the luau.
7) Aiden holding the statue-thing's hand. Priceless.
8) Landon's face in the picture with Isaac and the Dole Whip. Hahaha. Poor boy.
9) Your Snow family photo at the temple. So great.
10) Aiden with the statue thing at the grill. Hilarious pose and love his weird smile.
11) The last two pictures, although in the last one Aiden's head looks a little funny around his chin...possibly lighting...possibly not.
With your comment of everyone's anniversary years, it's cool to think there were 81 years of marriage in our group in a sense. So awesome.

Love you!!

Most hilarious belly picture ever! But what is Isaac expecting?? Ten years... Can you believe we've been married for a decade? Yikes...
