Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Did you know that Animal Kingdom is bigger than the other three parks combined? It’s huge. Also, it takes 2-3 hours each evening to put the animals back in their shelters, which is why the park closes earlier than the other parks. It is not too much like a run-of-the-mill zoo, which I was a little worried about. We really enjoyed the safari, even though we were stopped while on the truck for about forty minutes. The Finding Nemo musical was great, the Everest rollercoaster was really exciting, the Lion King show was entertaining, and Aiden was really excited about the birds show until they had to stop five minutes in due to lightning and rain. Florida weather is wild. Anyway, it was a fun park to visit. Smile

Did you know that there are two types of giraffe? I am more familiar with the reticulated (net pattern) than the Masai (oak leaf pattern).
