November

We had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Snow at the beginning of November. We had a whirlwind of things going on, and I am sure we wore them out, but hopefully they’ll still be willing to visit again. Smile While they were here, we had Halloween, Landon’s birthday and party, the school Walkathon, parent-teacher conferences, Jacob’s baby blessing, a house project building storage under the stairs, my birthday, and more.

Aiden ran 6.8 miles in this year’s Walkathon, the second most of anyone in the school, behind two fifth graders who tied for first with 71 tenth-mile laps. Landon participated for the first time, one of only a few TK students, and he enjoyed the sno-cone and popcorn more than the running.

Jacob was blessed in church at the beginning of the month with all four grandparents, his great grandma, and many more family and friends present.

The kids ran in a Turkey Trot the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Aiden ran in the 5K race and came in first for his 0-8 age group again, and Landon and Charlotte beat the turkey in the 100-yard dash.
