Early the morning after Christmas, we flew to Tennessee. The boys were so well-behaved, I still can’t believe my good fortune. Aiden was helpful and cheerful and listened well. Landon hardly made a peep. It was amazing.
All of Isaac’s siblings were able to meet at his parents’ for the holidays. Aiden saw all six of his cousins, including two we hadn’t met before. We even got to celebrate his cousin Nathan’s first birthday while there.
Isaac’s grandma Hanson, Uncle Denis, and Aunt Nora were there too, so we had quite the party.
It was wonderful to have everyone together.
Landon saw his first snow… although I don’t think it registered for him as much as for Aiden, who let Grandpa teach him how to put on gloves, threw snowballs with Daddy, and came running in to see me when he got cold.
We were all totally spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. We baked cookies, and Aiden learned how to build with omagles.
We went to the park, played games at the house, raced, watched the BYU bowl game, and visited the Pink Palace Museum, which had an animatronic T-Rex. Aiden was excited to see it until he actually got there and heard a little child screaming in terror… and then he had to work through his own fear of the dinosaur.
We are so grateful to everyone who made it possible for us to see so much family! Happy New Year!
