This Spring Aiden turned eight and just seems like such a big kid now! He keeps very busy, and we are all looking forward to a more relaxing summer schedule.
He is playing on a soccer team this spring, practicing twice a week and playing one game every weekend. He really enjoys it. His speed is an asset, and he is learning how to dribble, defend, and generally get down all the rules.

He is also really enjoying Cub Scouts and is excited to work on his Pinewood Derby car over the next few weeks and to attend day camp this summer.
He was one of the second grade Young Author’s contest winners at school this year with his book about two brothers who want to be racecar drivers.
Landon and Charlotte are along for the ride with a lot of Aiden’s activities, and they are pretty good sports about it. Landon is registered for Transitional Kindergarten this fall. He had all of his shots this month, now that he is 4.5, and he didn’t cry at all. He is 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. He loves preschool and will, we think, be extra happy to attend school five days a week in the fall.
