May

Only 13 more days of school (Aiden has only 12)! We’re in the home stretch!

Last week, we went to Aiden’s school for Open House, where he showed us his Brag Tags, terrarium, report on sea turtles, and more. I got to spend a little time with him on Friday for Bring your parent to school Day, and I was there for recess, a subtraction quiz, story time, and Monart.

The weather has been nice, so the kids have spent some time in the “pool” in the backyard. Charlotte has mixed feelings about it.

Isaac and I have been able to go to the temple with the youth a few times this month. The boys took care of the meals on Mothers’ Day.

Today for our last holiday off until Summer Vacation, we spent some time at the temple, walking around and checking out the Visitor’s Center. Then we had ice cream and ran a few errands.

After the zoo, we enjoyed a lunch at Fenton’s and visit at Grandma Anderson’s house.

Easter Egg Hunt

Mandy and Emma came to visit over Spring Break! We waited to do an egg hunt until they were here, and the four cousins had fun searching together.

They each had an assigned color to hunt for.

The girls did a pretty good job this year. Smile

Ardenwood

Over Spring Break we visited Ardenwood Farm with Brooke and Alex. It’s practically down the street from our house, but I haven’t been to the historic working farm in years (only Perry Farms next door to get pumpkins annually).

How gorgeous are peacocks? The farm also had a bunch of baby goats, and they were so cute!

The kids had fun checking everything out, and it was nice to catch up with Brooke. We’ll have to go again some time!
