First Fish

Today Aiden went fishing for the first time. They stocked the lake down the street, so he walked down with my dad this morning. There were volunteers there to give instructions and loan equipment. Aiden was one of only a few people to catch a fish in the hours he was there, and he was SO EXCITED.

Check out this beautiful rainbow trout!
Charlotte is adorable. There's not much more we can say than that she is wonderful.
Here's Landon trying on his Halloween costume from 2014... he's grown a little since then...
Here's our poor neglected little dog. She has not eaten anything she shouldn't lately, so she's metaphorically out of the doghouse. She went through a phase where she was really into eating burp cloths and baby clothes, and no one is happier that that seems to be over than I am.
And here are our three goofballs. Sure love them.

7 months old!

Charlotte is seven months old now, and people regularly comment on how big she is getting. She's not a tiny baby anymore!

She still has no teeth. On the other hand, Aiden has two loose teeth in front, which he's pretty excited about.

She is sleeping pretty well, starting to eat table foods/purees and loves it, and sitting fairly confidently. She loves to sit and play with "new" things and try to figure them out.

She's not big on "tummy time," so I'm hoping she holds off on crawling for awhile.

She is generally such a sweet little baby and gives us hardly any trouble at all.

She loves to babble at us, and I can't wait to be able to understand what she has to say!

In other news, the orange tree we planted last year survived the drought and is not dead. We've had lots of rain (well, you know, compared to the last year or two). I met Ally Condie at a book signing. I was a guinea pig at the school's BMX assembly.
