Visiting Tennessee

We were lucky to be able to visit family in Tennessee this month! Aiden and Landon were thrilled to stay with their grandparents and see six of their cousins.

All three kids were really good travelers, and we had no problems with our flights.
We did a little sightseeing, including visiting the huge Bass Pro Shop in the Pyramid and riding the tallest free-standing elevator in America.

The Pyramid is where Isaac graduated high school. It's quite different now...

We saw the views of Memphis from the top of the Pyramid and ate in the restaurant there.

We were able to spend a lot of time visiting, and the boys were super excited to have access to different toys than normal, which is always exciting.

I think Isaac might have been more excited than anyone to do some fireworks at Matthew & Stephani's house. ;)

One of our favorite things to do in TN is visit the Memphis Zoo, and it was a perfect day for that outing. We got pretty fortunate with the weather our whole trip, actually.

We got to meet tiny Calvin and little Bella for the first time.
Missing Emily & Kevin's four kids to round out the Snow cousins!
It was such a nice visit, and we feel so blessed that we were able to go and that everyone so graciously made time for us.

Happy Fourth!

We attended our ward's annual pancake breakfast at the park in the morning, which was yummy. It was the first year Aiden knew the Pledge of Allegiance, and he was pretty excited to participate.
We got to take it easy and play a lot because everyone had the day off.
We had frozen yogurt and did some small fireworks with Grandma and Grandpa down the street.

The boys weren't sure at first, but they eventually warmed up to the fireworks.

Even Sophie did pretty well with all the fireworks going on in the neighborhood, which was amazing, and the booms late at night only woke Charlotte up once.
God bless the USA!

Charlotte at 10 months

She's double-digits! She's crawling wherever she wants now, either on hands and knees or hands and feet. She has also started pulling up on people's legs and couches so she can stand.

She's very tolerant of whatever clothes or headbands I put her in so far, just a happy and easygoing baby. It's so fun. :)

She eats everything we've given her and will no longer sit peaceably during our meals unless she has finger food of her own. She really only cries if she's hungry or tired. Otherwise she's mostly a very happy baby.

She has been my little shadow, following me everywhere the past few weeks, and it's been so nice to be home with the kids since school let out for summer.

She loves this sweet quilt her grandma made her. Thanks Ama!

She loves to be involved with her brothers' busy activities, no longer just a passive observer. She wants to hold (and possibly slobber on) whatever has the boys' attention.

She likes to go for walks in the stroller, look at books while sitting on someone's lap, babble with anyone who will talk to her, and crawl around to see what she can reach and get her hands on.

She is sweet and friendly, a great sleeper, and a joy to her whole family. We are sure loving this first summer with her around!
