We had our seventh anniversary in June. Seven is a lucky number, so Isaac figures this next year is bound to bring some great things.
We celebrated by going to church and attending a baptism and spending time at home with our little family.
It was funny going through all the wedding planning and events with Mandy lately because on one hand, it doesn’t seem like it was really seven years ago that it was us in their shoes, but on the other, it seems like it was a long time ago. Does that make sense?
Anyway, here’s to lots more!
My little sister is a married lady! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, but everyone survived, and as my dad says, “At the end of the day, they’re married.” That’s the most important thing.
Getting ready… Aiden pointed to the pink socks and said, “Mommy’s socks.” Nope, sorry, mister.
Mandy and Bryant were sealed in the Oakland Temple.
We had the reception back in the cultural hall at our church building.
I had nothing to do with the decoration of their car, but I like their faces as they see it.
Kudos to Danielle for noticing that the evening ended with a gorgeous sunset in their wedding colors
Look out, world! The man of the house is THIRTY!
For Isaac’s birthday, we met my dad, brother, and grandma Anderson at the park. We rode the train, went to the petting zoo, and Aiden & Isaac took a ride on the Merry Go Round.
Aiden had a blast, and he was sure fun to watch.
Aiden tried to tell the goat “Off!” like he says with Sophie.
He was mostly brave, but he didn’t like the ones that got their faces too close to him after he ran out of food.
Hugs for the goat
He LOVED the bunny hutches. One of his favorite books right now. Is Quiet Bunny, and he kept running around calling all the rabbits “quiet bunny!”
Once the ride started, Aiden was totally focused and had no expression on his face whatsoever. It makes me wonder what he was thinking.
After the park, we came home and surprised Isaac with a BBQ at our place with some family and friends in the area!
We spent the rest of the day at stake conference meetings. Woo-hoo!
Happy Birthday, Isaac! We love you!
