Christmas Time

It’s my favorite time of year, and we’re making the most of it!

We baked about 24 dozen cookies this week to take to friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family. We made snicker doodles, molasses, chocolate chip, peanut butter kiss, and sugar cookies. Delivering them was a blast.

Aiden had his Preschool Christmas concert & party.

He told Santa that he wants dinosaurs for Christmas. Twice… since tonight we went to our Ward Christmas Party.

Our shopping is done, mailing is done, and wrapping is almost done. I am out for Winter Break for the next two weeks, and we’re pretty excited about that! Tomorrow I lead the ward choir in one song for our Christmas program while our magnificent choir director is out of town, and I’m a terrible chorister, so everyone pray for our wonderful choir to do fine without my help!

December

I’m lucky to have a good job, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t anxious for Christmas break. We’ve been decorating, creating, wrapping, etc. all in preparation for Christmas.

Isaac takes his graham cracker house making very seriously.

Isaac gave them haircuts this week, and they just look older than ever (which I suppose makes sense…). Ah! My heart!
