It's a Boy!

HIS little face...

He kept putting his hand up by his face... It was bothering the tech a little bit...

It's so exciting to know what to expect now! I'll admit it feels somehow more intimidating knowing it's a boy, which I obviously can't relate to in the same way, but we're excited. The downside is that I guess I now have to take down the Sleeping Beauty pictures and the dolls I have in the spare room... there is definitely more "girl stuff" on display around here than "boy stuff." However, there are plenty of upsides I'm excited about... a boy means now I can buy those cute doggie-patterned clothes I saw that I held off on because they were predominantly blue. We agree more on boy names too, so that'll make decisions easier. Also, with the dog, we'll have even numbers in our home again. ;)

Shot

I got the flu shot a few days ago. I'm glad that's over.

In other news, the ultrasound is tomorrow (I'm sure you know if you have talked to Isaac because he has been counting down the days for about three weeks now...).

We're hoping to find out what we're having... take the poll and cast your vote!

To be Shot or Not to be Shot...

My doctor wants me to get the flu shots. I want not to get the flu shots.

My doctor says it will be even more miserable than normal if I get the flu, so I should take the precaution, especially since I am a teacher and constantly exposed to lots of germs.
I have never had a flu shot, I would prefer to avoid an unnecessary needle, I worry that I'm more likely to get the flu if I actually get the shots (I have only had it once in the last seven or so years), and I am just trying to be very good about using hand sanitizer in class and not use kids' pencils when I'm showing them something, etc.

I'm looking for people to weigh in...

Shot or Not Shot?!
